What's the big idea? Blog entry #3

Just yesterday, CNN released a video about Trumps admin releasing war plans against Yemen to Jeffrey Goldberg, a journalist for The Atlantic. In the video, a CNN anchorwoman spoke with Ryan Goodman, a legal scholar about war plans against Yemen being leaked to a The Atlantic journalist Jeffrey Goldberg. The people involved in the group chat were all members of Donald Trump's admin, their names being: Marco Rubio, Secretary of State, Tulsi Gabbard, director of national intelligence(the irony, right?), John Ratcliffe, CIA director, Mike Waltz, National Security Advisor, J.D. Vance, Vice President, and Pete Hegseth, Defense Secretary.  At first glance this seems quite appalling, as is nearly anything this man has done. Such as, transgendered people must now identify with the gender they were born with in the armed forces, or how national websites about female healthcare have been mysteriously wiped, and how Mexicans and Native American's are now being targeted and chased out of ...

Blog Post #6: The health benefits of power walking

Image
Being nearly four months into the New Year, it is highly likely that people remember those resolutions some of them made at the beginning of the year. Maybe it was to have a morning jog every day, or wanting to do cryotherapy at least once a week. One of those may have been walking briskly for about 2 miles, or 30 minutes (like mine) and today this blog will be dedicated to discussing those benefits. Reward release, pain reduce, and stress relief, oh my!  The happy feeling after experiencing a good meal, an excellent workout, or even...

In remembrance of Women's History Month, I wanted to have fun with this assignment and write a movie review about an inspiring female lead. Legally Blonde is a movie from the year 2001 about an inspiring young woman named Elle Woods, and how she went from a fun-loving, fashion major, living in California, to an inspiring, mature graduate of Harvard Law School with a Law degree, all because she originally wanted to win her ex-boyfriend, Warner, back. Only to instead, fall in love with law, remember her worth when others don't and become an amazing lawyer.  Image Citation One of the things I enjoyed about this film was that in the beginning, although she was fun-loving, pink wearing, California girl, she was still smart and capable. We first see this in the beginning when a dress saleswoman tries to get her to pay full price for a dress, but Elle, using her *fashion knowledge, outsmarts the underestimating woman's antics. After she starts law school, she feels pressured to ...
